2 Are aware of ontological and epistemological assumptions of different theoretical approaches that aims to understand Latin and North American regions.
3 Are able to follow current developments in Latin and North American countries both in English and Spanish and analyze those current developments by locating them in their historical context.
4 Are able to analyze internal regional dynamics of Latin and North American countries.
5 Able to craft a comparative research between Turkey and Latin and North American countries from disciplinary as well as interdisciplinary perspectives.
6 Able to design and execute an academic research, analyze his/her research findings, develop an argument (thesis) on the subject matter.
7 Able to present the findings of his/her academic research and defend his/her argument both in written and oral.
