By the end of this course, the student will be able to:

• develop awareness towards the conservation of historic environments considering their diverse character.
• gather knowledge on international/national concepts, norms, current problems and issues related with historic site conservation; administrative and legislative processes and existing tools to be used/developed in Turkey’s conservation planning processes,
• develop skills in solving conservation problems in historic environments and to use legislative processes and tools.
