In this course, students should be able to:

• develop an understanding of educational psychology as a theoretical and research field,
• assess development theories in terms of conceptual foundations and implications for teaching and learning in schools,
• analyze approaches to learning in terms of their theoretical foundations and implications for teaching and learning in schools,
• understand various aspects of student motivation in terms of their theoretical foundations and implications for teaching and learning in schools.
