By the end of the semester, students should be able to use methods of vector calculus, in particular, the line and surface integrals and related theorems (Green, divergence, Stokes), in rectangular and orthogonal curvilinear coordinates. Moreover, students should be able to use skillfully elementary complex calculus as well as the theory of analytic functions of a complex variable, in particular, the residue theorem and its application in contour integration.
