Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Distinguish the characteristics and functions of law from other social rules and identify basic legal concepts and institutions in Turkish Law.
- Describe the structure and functioning of the Turkish court system, including the different types of courts and their jurisdictions.
- Identify and interpret the primary and secondary sources of Turkish Law, and locate relevant legal materials.
- Explain legal capacity and representation, apply basic legal principles to real-world situations, and engage in critical legal analysis.
