The topics included in this course are important for graduate students in the biology and the biotechnology graduate programs of METU. After taking this course graduate students doing research studies at graduate level are expected to gain the theoretical knowledge and the skills necessary for conserving valuable plant biodiversity in Turkey.  Thus, this course will be a valuable addition to the graduate curriculum of the department.
