- have a knowledge of the infrastructural nature of the landscape
- explore landscape-based and ecology-based urbanism
- (as an architect, planner, or urban designer) have a stance towards planetary environmental crises
- develop an integrated mindset with landscape knowledge
- be familiar with various landscape narratives and representations
