This course will introduce you to neuroscience research. You will learn how different brain imaging techniques, such as electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), can be used to address specific questions we have about human cognition and behaviour. The lectures will cover the structure and the function of the nervous system, and recent research on brain function associated with sensorimotor processing, learning, and memory in health and psychopathology. In addition, traditional and more recent models of brain function will be discussed.
