Course Learning Outcomes

Students will develop their inventory in terms of urban form and macroform as well as microspace design. Though the course is revolving around the issues related to the urban arena, the basic tenets of the protagonists of known architectural movements are also covered. Therefore, the students will have the chance to get an overview of the relationship between architectural discourse and city building. This multifaceted approach is by no means exhaustive, yet it is expected to endow the students with fundamental knowledge as regards issues pertaining to the act of laying out a settlement.

Further outcomes are first related to the development of individual graphical skills of students. They should be able to represent their knowledge with better apt. Second, students, as future citizens are expected to become sensitive to their spatial environments and intervene to make it better.
