This course is designed to cover light matter interaction from interdisiplinary and multidisiplinary perspectives. Light interaction with materials covers transmission, reflection, absorption and scattering. Materials include but not limited to nanomaterials, semiconductors, small molecules, transition and rare earth metal oxides. Disiplines that might be interested are electrical engineering, physics, materials science, chemical engineering, and chemistry.
