Course Objectives

This course offers an in-depth study of Martin Heidegger’s Being and Time. It focuses on the methodology Heidegger employs in his magnum opus, namely hermeneutic phenomenology, and examines its central concepts, including Being, Being-in-the-world, Being-towards-death, resoluteness, temporality, (in)authentic historicality, and historiography.
