This course provides:

• an understanding of the common terminology/vocabulary of twentieth century architecture in Turkey;
• a working knowledge of architectural forms, types, concepts and movements in relation to building technologies, urban changes and historical and cultural events in this context;
• the ability to analyze and discuss architecture in relation to contextual characteristics.
