By the end of this course students will be able to

-  Understand the properties of concrete ingredients;

-  Understand the properties of fresh and hardened concrete and their interrelations and interdependence;

-  Relate microstructure with macro properties;

-  Use the knowledge they gained to design and make different types of concretes.
