This course aims to survey the literature on memory processes in cognitive psychology.  Students will learn about theories and models developed to understand the mechanisms that govern human memory. Readings and discussions will emphasize integration of theory development and theory testing through experimental methods in cognitive psychology. Upon successful completion of the course, students will gain richer understanding of theoretical work in human memory research.
