Course Objectives

This is an art course where students will prepare a research paper on history of glass art and civilizations, learn about glass forming techniques, and do applications. The course requires 8 hours of attendance per week. It aims to introduce students with art, specifically with glass art, and to promote their art engagement. Another objective of the course is to transfer the technical and aesthetic knowledge necessary for transforming abstract thinking into concrete thinking via glass material.

In order to take the course, it is necessary to attend the course selection day announced on the department's website. Registrations are made during the add-drop week.
