Course Objectives

The course consists of reading, writing, and speaking tasks, as well as critical analysis and structuring of texts. The main objective is to strengthen the students’ ability to process texts and to increase their independence in producing written work.

This course is designed to teach students how to apply, modify, and adapt their reading skills to accommodate the unique features and requirements of various academic topics related to the field of language learning and teaching. This course in particular will also focus on constructing solid arguments for critical article /chapter review and response skills. This course will provide the student with a foundation in the English reading and writing skills necessary to succeed in subsequent English and seminary courses.
