- Determine the most common complications of pregnancy including the causes of low birth weight and premature infants.
- Determine the abnormal development of children.
- Infer the stressors of illness for children and their family during each developmental stage.
- Illustrate the roles of other members of the health care team involved in the care of the child.
- Outline the routine activities of special health significance of preschoolers.
