By the end of the course, the students will learn:

- use of genomics and transcriptomics in studying human evolution, and in other fields of biology,

- the advantages and caveats of next-generation sequencing technologies and their applications,

- logic and use of state-of-the-art bioinformatics algorithms in comparative genomics and population genomics.
