At the end of this course students:

- will get the fundamental concepts related to boundary layers.

- will understand the main properties and classification of turbulent flows.

- will be familiar with the turbulent flow equations and understand the necessity of turbulence modeling.

- will be familiar with different types of turbulence models and be able to apply this knowledge on some basic hydraulics problems.
