Students, who passed the course satisfactorily will (be able to) :
- adaquately describe leptons, Quarks, and the fundamental interactions
- have the technical and mathematical skills required for the formulation of Standard Model of particle physics
- apply basic notions of symmetries and the corresponding conserved laws
- analyze Abelian and non-Abelian gauge symmetries
- understand the discovery of the SM Higgs boson at the LHC and various implications
