PSYC100 General Psychology aims to:
- Get non-psychology program students familiarised with the main subfields of psychology, such as perception, learning, memory, personality theories, psychopathology, social and developmental psychology.
- Improve the perception of psychology as a discipline in a way that they understand that it is the study of human behaviour and mental processes and uses the scientific methods akin to those used in other scientific fields.
- Create and advance knowledge base of psychology among students who are majoring in other fields in a way that they can utilise this knowledge in their professional careers.
