After this course, the students would:

1- have the substantive knowledge in the realm of politics that would enable them to build up the future political science background onto this basis

2-acquire the basic background for critical thinking, writing and research skills

3-be able to discuss these concepts as well as learn how to apply them to contemporary political debates and problems.
