1. Explain methods and technologies for the processing of industrial minerals/rocks.

2. Identify ore-specific problems/difficulties in the beneficiation of industrial minerals/rocks.

3. Develop mineral-specific flowsheets for the beneficiation of industrial minerals/rocks.

4. Modify flowsheets to overcome specific difficulties in processing and/or to meet market requirements.

5. Describe the value of industrial minerals/rocks of major importance for Turkey. 

6. Evaluate the economical and technical benefits of processing industrial minerals/rocks rather than marketing these as a run-off-mine commodity.
