Introduction to the Fisheries Science is essentially for the student having no background knowledge on fish and fisheries. The course is intended to be a preparatory step for high level courses such as Fish Population Dynamics, Stock Assessment and Fisheries Management . It  provides a broad introduction into the study of aquatic organisms and ecology of fisheries and some of the legal, social, and political aspects of their use.
