By the end of the course the students will be able to:
- appreciate art objects and design works
- analyse and critique creative works within their artistic and socio-historical context
- unfold stories of objects and reflect on the processes through which these objects are produced.
- use theoretical, methodological, and terminological knowledge with reference to art and design works.
- reflect on historical, political, economic, socio-cultural, technological and environmental context of creative works
- reflect on the alternative roles of stakeholders or “the audience” in contemporary art and design
- experience creative processes and gain hands on experience by getting involved in creative processes themselves
- explore their personal creative potential and contribute to the shaping of their professional development
