Technological developments are proceeding at an ever-increasing pace, forcing companies to adapt quickly.  This requires an understanding of managerial elements necessary to bring technological developments from initial innovation through development and final use.  These managerial elements are not only technical, but have many psychological and sociological components.  The objective of this course is to develop an awareness of the issues related to the field of management of technology and introduce basic concepts of innovation management using academic sources and relevant case examples.  The course will focus primarily on product innovations.
