At the end of this course, the graduate students will be able
-To understand intergroup conflicts, political problems, theories relevant to intergroup relations.
-To describe core concepts in the traditional and current theories of intergroup relations such as
Realistic Conflict Model, Social Identity Theory, Intergroup Contact Model, Stereotypes Content
Model, Terror Management Theory..etc.
-To asses the role of various social psychological concepts on intergroup relations, conflict and
collective action.
