Students who pass the course satisfactorily will be able to:

• Use Minitab to construct graphical representations of data and interpret graphs
• Use Minitab to compute and interpret sample statistics for data
• Find and use confidence intervals for unknown parameters of distributions from data
• Perform hypotheses testing for unknown parameters of the distributions from data and compute related error probabilities
• Construct or estimate a linear model (regression / design of experiments) with single and multiple independent variables and perform related significance tests
• Perform residual analysis & model transformation when necessary
