Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:

• understand the general theoretical background in continuous dynamica systems
• understand the discrete dynamical systems and distinguish from the continuous counterpart
• be able to understand bifurcation (with respect to the parameters) of the underlying applied nonlinear dynamics in several fields
• learn the basics of chaos in dynamical systems
