Course Objectives

 

Provide information needed to ensure microbiological safety in food industry. Discuss principles related to hazards, contamination, food safety and food safety regulations. To learn food presevation techniques, beneficial use of microorganisms in food industry, identification techniques for microorganisms.  Develop an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility and an ability to communicate effectively.
