Course Objectives

To apply knowledge of science and engineering to an understanding of the principles of established fermentation technologies. To encourage students to come up with new ideas for the improvement of already existing technologies and for the design of new equipment. To encourage critical thinking on problems related with the fermentation sector and to promote teamwork and communication skills on relevant topics.
