Course Learning Outcomes

1. Understand and identify components of mechatronic systems

2. Have a basic understanding of electrical circuits.

3. Understand and identify semiconductor devices such as diodes, transistors

4. Working knowledge of op-amps

5. Basics of digital circuits.

6. Microcontrollers, arduino programming and interfacing.

7. Actuators: learning about DC and stepper motors

8. Sensors: position sensors, encoders, proximity sensors, their working priciples and use.

9. Some knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
