Students who passed this course satisfactorily will be:

1) familiar with differential equations governing fluid flow

2) able to classify fluid flow and form mathematical models for specific engineering problems

3) able to obtain analytical solutions for certain flow types

4) familiar with turbulence phenomena, its consequences and methods of formulation

5) equipped with a sound theoretical background to conduct research in hydraulics
