Course Objectives

Course Objectives (CO)

By the end of the course students will be able to;

CO1- Know the principles and the guidelines of Universal Design, its relation to the issue disability within its evolving socio-political and legal regulatory frameworks in an international historical context,

CO2- Analyze, the design problems of different scales of built environment considering the principles and guidelines of UD principles

CO3- Apply in a creative way the principles and the guidelines of UD principles in different design problems of built environment.

CO4- Show awareness of the social, physical and attitudinal barriers in the built environment, as well as be aware of the significance of  the responsibility and duty of all occupations working in the built environment, to make the built environment universally usable and accessible for diverse users.
