The course is meant to provide a historical, technical and practical framework for students of public administration to better understand the opportunities, challenges, and limitations associated with e-government and the use of technology in public administration. Students will particularly learn about the concept and applications of e-government and will cover related administrative, organizational, technological and major policy issues in this context, including a discussion of e-government in Turkey. In addition, the course will provide an overview of case study examples of different e-government applications around the world.
