At the end of this course, the students will learn the definition of certain fundamental biological and chemical processes, principles of probability and statistics, microarray analyses, fundamental and advanced classification and clustering methods, analyses of protein sequence alignments, structure and elements of biological network, visualization tools and databases in bioinformatics.
