This course aims at introducing students to various information technologies that could be used for and within education. At the end of this course, the students will: 

  1. familiarize themselves with the technology and concepts of computing

  2. examine the role of computers in society, organizations and education

  3. learn about the concepts of computer literacy, word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
