On the successful completion of this course, it is expected that the student is able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the scope and major theories of developmental psychology through infancy and childhood
- Demonstrate knowledge of physical, cognitive, social and personality aspects of human development and the interaction between these aspects
- Explain research methods used by developmental psychologists
- Apply what they learn to themselves and to people they know
