The main objective of the course is developing an orientation about clinical research among students and teaching them the basics of research methods that used at clinical psychology. Specifically, the course aims;

- to pay attention to the role of scientific method in clinical psychology.

- to describe  what kinds of questions clinical psychologist are interested in addressing.

- to describe and evaluate a range of research designs and methods used by clinical psychology researchers.

- to discuss the ethical and practical issues that clinical psychologists are likely to encounter while undertaking research in the real world.
