Upon the completion of this course, we expect that our students will be able to;
- Explain the basic concepts related to curriculum.
- Discuss different approaches to curriculum development
- Interpret the curricular experiences in Turkey.
- Discuss the importance of instructional planning.
- Explain basic concepts and processes related to unit and lesson planning.
- Use criteria for evaluating instructional objectives.
- Write instructional objectives at various taxonomy levels of cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains.
- Design and implement instructional modules in middle school mathematics that make use of major teaching methods.
- Explain the criteria for effective questioning techniques.
