At the end of the course the students will:

1. be able to comprehend the basics of aggregate planning and lot sizing

2. become familiar with the fundamental concepts of  lot sizing, formulate the related problems, and learn methods used to solve them

3. become familiar with the fundamental concepts of scheduling  in manufacturing systems, formulate the related problems, and learn methods used to solve them

4. become familiar with the fundamental concepts of scheduling in service systems, formulate the related problems, and learn methods used to solve them
