It aims to provide students with a historical review of the field, and intorductory level of understanding of the field of psychopathology. Theconcepts of normal and abnormal behaviour, theoretical approaches to psychopathology, examination of the types of adulthood psychopathology as proposed in different approaches including the psychanalytical and the medical ones including the latest classification system will be the focus. 

• The basic aim of the course is to make an introduction to the area of psychopathology where the students can understand and differentiate normal and psychopathological issues with a broaden clinical perspective.
• It aims to provide students with a historical review of the field, concepts of normal and abnormal behaviour, theoretical approaches to abnormal behaviour, examination of the types of adulthood and childhood psychopathology as proposed in the latest classification system.
