This course is designed to guide CE graduate students in conducting their individual research studies by acquainting them with the required knowledge, strategies, and experience in doing academic research. Some objectives are to enable students to:

• Understand research terminology and ethical principles
• Gain awareness of scientific research methods to be used in CE domain
• Critically assess published research in CE
• Construct and conduct research methodologically addressing problems in CE
• Comprehend how to collect and analyze relevant data

Present and visualize research findings
