This course is intended to give advanced knowledge in processing of materials and physical metallurgy. This course aims to provide advanced level knowledge in processing-microstructure relationship of materials. At the end of this course student should be capable of:

• choosing proper extractive metallurgy techniques depending on the required microstructure
• choosing the proper fabrication technique depending on the required microstructure
• designing internal microstructure of materials depending on the required performance criteria
