After taking this course, the student is expected to acquire

•      improved understanding of the device physics establishing the high frequency behavior of transistors,

•      improved understanding of the high frequency equivalent circuits and limitations of transistors,  

•      substantially improved ability to design and analyze high speed analog and digital circuits, 

•      substantial information on the development of the semiconductor technology.
