This course focuses on statistical testing methodologies for cryptographic systems, covering test design, implementation, and analysis using industry-standard suites (NIST STS, Dieharder, TestU01). Students will learn to evaluate randomness quality in PRNGs, cipher outputs, and cryptographic keys, interpret test results, and apply statistical techniques to detect biases, correlations, and non-random patterns in cryptographic implementations.
