At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate the following:  1) A developing awareness of and competency in understanding core principles of clinical psychology, including but not limited to assessment and diagnosis, current research on effective psychological assessments and treatments, and research methodology in clinical psychology; 2) Critical thinking in relation to scientific evidence on optimal approaches to providing mental health care.
