This course aims to develop students’ essay writing and reading skills needed to success at various content-area courses at university level. The course will enable students to review and present various rhetorical modes including comparison and contrast, example, classification, process analysis, cause and effect, and argument. The students will explore the interplay between these different rhetorical modes and the act of writing.
