This course aims to develop a fundamental and up-to-date understanding of the role of technological change in modern economic growth and development. While the implications of technological change remain central, the range of topics to be covered includes basics of public policy, innovation, organizational structure of innovation, systems of innovation, clusters, networks, and STI policy. The course also focuses on the reflections of the subject-matter on the recent trends in the Turkish economy.
