By completing this course, students will be able to (1) construct and optimize bilinear pairings (Weil, Tate, Ate) for cryptographic use, (2) implement and analyze pairing-based protocols (IBE, ABE, BLS) with formal security proofs, (3) assess and mitigate attack vectors (MOV, side-channels, parameter flaws), and (4) design efficient, secure pairing systems for practical applications.
